Hell, I’m not even in your Going Fucking Bananas Republic, but have been observing its politics since Nixon interrupted my Summer morning TV routine to wave goodbye from that Sea King on the White House lawn. I had earlier heard about “Watergate “ and assumed it had something to do with Killer Wales (you may recall, they were “a thing back” then). Anyhoot, here’s my 2 cents- He’s not Susan Collins and doesn’t have here record of expressed concerns while facilitating the rape and murder of your Constitutional Republic
I’m not in Maine so I don’t have to struggle with this, however I’d probably vote for him and hope he’s not a Fetterman. Collins gave us Brett Kavanaugh. That is what I can’t abide.
I would vote for him too, but c’mon Democrats, there have to be better fucking candidates that don’t have a fuckton of baggage.
And what is it with jumping to the top office without some testing in lower offices?
I mean, he could have run for a state Rep, or state Senate seat first to get all this baggage properly stowed and address, but no, he HAS to fucking go straight to the US Senate.
If Collins beats his ass (it is really a toss up, remember she polled behind Sara Gideon, yet beat her handily) it will be a fucking travesty.
